Find a Pro Clubs team on FC 27: where to look, what to check, how to apply

You’ve played your first Drop-In matches. Your player holds up. And you’re tired of teams where the goalkeeper leaves the game in the 20th minute. You need a club. On FC 27, there’s no shortage of clubs recruiting, and that’s exactly the trap. Many posts date from the previous edition, and others come from clubs that won’t exist in two weeks. This guide tells you where to look, what to put in your post, and how to tell whether a club really plays before you say yes.

01 · Where to look

Where to look for a Pro Clubs team on FC 27 today

Posts are scattered, and every place has its own habits.

  • French-speaking Discord servers. That’s where the organised clubs live. One channel for clubs that are recruiting, another for free agents, and it scrolls fast. Your message gets read for an hour or two, then sinks below the newer ones.
  • Facebook recruitment groups. Tens of thousands of members, long posts, often with a Discord link at the end. Check the date before you reply. A good share of the visible messages still talk about FC 26.
  • Reddit and English-speaking communities. If you play in English, or late at night, English-speaking and European clubs recruit all year round.
  • The Grounds, in-game. The small formats, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and Rush, are made for playing with strangers. They are also a good way to spot players who communicate before you join an 11v11 club.
  • SpotXI. You publish a need with four choices: position, platform, play region, time slot. Every suggested match shows why it fits. Nobody sees your contact until both sides have accepted. The app is coming to iOS and Android. In the meantime, the FC 27 leaderboards and the club profiles on the site already show each club’s number of matches and recent form.

You don’t have to choose. Put the same clear post up everywhere you’re looking, and compare who answers, and how.

02 · Before you apply

The five details to give before you apply

A captain reads dozens of posts every evening. They reply to the ones that save them from having to ask questions.

  1. 01

Your position, and a fallback position

“Defensive midfielder, I can fill in at centre-back” beats “anywhere”. “Anywhere” means “nowhere”.

  2. 02

    Your platform and your version

On FC 27, Clubs and The Grounds only run on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. A PS4 version launched on a PS5 does not give access to the mode. Check what you have installed before you apply: the article on FC 27 platforms covers each case.

  3. 03

    Your time slots

The evenings and hours when you’re actually there, not the ones when you could be. A club that plays Tuesday and Thursday at 21:00 has no use for a player who is free on Sunday afternoon.

  4. 04

Your level and what you want

Chill or competitive, and the division you’re aiming for. A laid-back club recruiting a player who’s aiming for Elite ends badly for both.

  5. 05

    Mic and language

Mic or no mic, French, English if you speak it. Clubs that play on voice will ask you at the first match.

These are the same details SpotXI asks for when you publish your availability. To write them once and for all, use the player post template in the guide.

03 · Before you say yes

How to tell whether a club really plays

A dead club costs you an evening and sends you back to square one. Before you say yes, check four things.

  • Its matches

Open its profile on SpotXI. How many matches in this edition, how many in the last ten days, how many players seen more than once. A hundred matches and six recent results, that’s a club. Three matches since FC 27 came out, that’s a project.

  • Its squad

Ten players who come back match after match. Not thirty gamertags that showed up once.

  • Its captain

The captain replies, with a position and a trial slot. A “we’ll see” is an answer, and it means no.

  • Its rules

Expected attendance, lateness, mic, behaviour. A serious club writes them down somewhere and has no reason to hide them from you.

A club that demands a decision the same evening, or asks for personal information before a trial, isn’t worth your time. On SpotXI, no private contact is shared before both sides agree, and the age category is visible before any invitation. The safety page sets out these rules.

04 · In the game

How to get to Pro Clubs in FC 27

The mode is called Clubs and it lives inside The Grounds. From the hub, go into the Clubhouse to find your club, Leagues and Playoffs. The old “Pro Clubs” menu no longer exists, the content is in the same place. If Clubs doesn’t show up for you, it’s almost always a question of installed version, not settings.

05 · The clubs

Which clubs are recruiting?

All of them, or nearly, at the start of an edition. The real question is which ones are recruiting your position, on your platform, when you play. SpotXI publishes structured needs for that. A club declares a position, a platform, a play region and a time, and you only see what concerns you. Until the app is out, the club profiles on the site show the active clubs with their observed squad. Applying to a club whose last thirty results you’ve seen beats answering a six-month-old post.

06 · The template

A post template to copy

  • Player: looking for a club

Defensive midfielder, fallback centre-back. PS5, PS5 version. Available Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, 21:00 to 23:00. Competitive level, aiming for Division 3. Mic, French, decent English. Looking for a club that plays regularly, with clear rules. Trial possible this week.

Six lines, and a captain knows whether to answer you. The guide also has the club-side version and a list of what to check during the trial.

On the club side, the recruiting article explains what a captain looks at before offering a trial.

07 · Frequently asked questions

Joining a Pro Clubs team on FC 27: the questions that keep coming up

  • How do you join a Pro Clubs team on FC 27?

Apply where the club is recruiting, with your five details, then play a trial over one or two matches. The in-game invitation comes from the captain. On SpotXI, the trial is proposed from the app and contact is only shared once the invitation has been accepted.

  • Do you need a mic?

Not to play. For most competitive clubs, yes. Put it in your post: it’s the first thing a captain who plays on voice looks for.

  • Can you switch clubs?

Yes, whenever you want. Still tell the captain. Communities are small and reputations travel fast.

  • I play on PS4 or Xbox One, can I join a club?

Not on FC 27. Clubs and The Grounds aren’t available on those consoles, nor on the original Nintendo Switch. You need the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC or Nintendo Switch 2 version.

  • How old do you have to be to use SpotXI?

Fifteen, with a declared age category that’s visible before any invitation.
